AHA Classes Offered through DATC
As the holidays grow closer upon us, it's increasingly difficult to make time for everything that needs to be done. With so many events to attend, gifts to purchase, and everyday responsibilities, renewing a certification can easily be forgotten. However, you won't have to travel far to receive the training you need to keep your card up-to-date.
The Danville Area Training Center (DATC), located at 630 Randolph Street in Danville, Virginia, offers initial and renewal classes in Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Alongside their American Heart Association courses, DATC also offers Office of EMS classes. In the fall, their EMT and EMT-Intermediate classes begin. Then, in January, DATC offers an Advanced EMT course. All Danville Life Saving Crew volunteers are taught at DATC and each class is also open to the public.
