The Danville Life Saving Crew provides medical EMS standbys and community EMS standbys. A medical standby is when registered EMTs and paramedics are on scene to care for any individual that requires medical attention. You see these kinds of standbys at football games, concerts, and even outdoor events. A community standby is when volunteers and staff members give the community the opportunity to look through the different vehicles and learn more about what it means to work with the Crew.
